"Your hobbies now may turn out to be your source of paycheck tomorrow." That was how we stumbled on our now thriving business of handmade paper. We use handmade paper as a medium for our artworks. However, when our garment factory was affected by the economic crisis in the Philippines, the handmade paper hobby became our alternative source of income.

Today TUY ARTS AND DESIGNS has created a quality Abaca Handmade paper and products. With the knowledge in design, product development and visual arts. The company has been able to manufacture upcycled products using sugarcane leaves as raw material. The leaves are skillfully crafted by the wives of the sugarcane farmers providing them with an alternative source income.

Now the company recycled materials such as ground coffee beans, wine bottle and PET bottles and combined it with abaca handmade paper and sugar cane leaves as new upcycled products.
