My Angel arrived in 2013 in Bottle Chime form” – Precy Perez from Bacolod City,
had been a Chemical Engineering Professor at two Universities in Bacolod City and then a Science Research Specialist at the Department of Science and Technology at Bicutan, Taguig City.  She availed of DOST's Technology Business Incubator (TBI) and put up a ceramics making business with friends.  Years later she went home to Bacolod City and continued the ceramics business as a single proprietor and as a subcontractor to exporters.  The business was doing well in the beginning, until China came in and pirated foreign buyers.  The business eventually went down.  Despite the odds of losing buyers, losing skilled workers and financially down, she still kept on joining DTI subsidized Trade Fairs in Manila till a buying agent friend showed a picture of a Bottle Chime now my Angel Chime using slumped medicine bottles.  Seeing the potential in the local market, she went on to make more different slumped products using wine bottles and scrap glasses.  The DTI- Design Center of the Philippines (DCP) and the Center for International Trade Expositions & Missions (CITEM)  also helped in the designs.  The company joined not only local fairs but also Manila Fame Int'l Fair through the assistance of DTI  and Gov. Marañon of Negros Occidental.  The company eventually exported their upcycled functional slumped bottle products to the USA and Belgium.
